The Phoenix Company designs and manufactures world-class blindmate RF and Microwave contacts, cable assemblies, and housings for the Test and Measurement, Quantum Computing, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Medical, and Military industries.
Our PkZ® blindmate contacts provide a unique solution for achieving constant impedance when the contacts are not fully engaged. This makes the PkZ contact ideal for blindmate or modular applications where small gaps between mated modules often prevent contacts from fully mating, resulting in signal degradation. With design and manufacturing based in the U.S., we’re perfectly suited to support our customers with custom solutions for any situation.
Our History
The Phoenix Company was founded in 1969 to manufacture connectors and RF contacts for aerospace and ground-based military systems. These early successes helped establish our RF contact product line which soon supplied production to first generation analog cellular base stations in the early 1980’s. This was followed by the revolutionary PkZ blindmate constant impedance contact that supported generations of cellular base stations around the world. The PkZ blindmate technology continues to serve and support critical market applications for a wide variety of forward-thinking industries.
