Inside Sales Representative (Remote)

Are you an Inside Sales Representative with great customer service skills?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity that involves “firsthand” working relationships with our customers for our Cryogenic, Quantum Computing, and Test and Measurement markets.

The Phoenix Company team is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our existing Sales team to support customer needs with our growing electronics business. Your primary responsibility for this role will be communicating, building, and maintaining business relationships with customers, manufacturing sales representatives, and cross-facility personnel.

This dynamic role involves working with others to provide exemplary service to our customers. The Inside Sales Representative will process quotations, sample requests and sales orders, provide product information to clients, and resolve customer grievances through continuous improvement efforts. We are seeking a high school or Trade school business major graduate with a combination of two or more years of experience working in an inside sales and/or customer service-related role. This individual must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience working with ISO 9001:2015 quality processes and procedures is preferred. This role requires a strong desire to learn, communicate and trouble-shoot customer related concerns, develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

Quote Entry:

  • Review customer requirements, communicate lead times and pricing to the customer.
  • Submit new product design request to engineering for further development.
  • Obtain customer drawings, specifications, and other required information.
  • Enter quote into MRP system and distribute as needed..
  • Periodically follow up with customer and document current quote status.

Customer Orders:

  • Receive and process customer purchase orders received via email or customer portal.
  • Confirm pricing and delivery.
  • Review Purchase Order Terms and Conditions.
  • Enter order into MRP system.
  • Process order revisions expedites and cancellation requests.

Account Management:

  • Manage key accounts within a territory providing a high degree of communication, attention to KPI, and account review details to management.
  • Issue Return Material Authorizations
  • Maintain customer files.
  • Update weekly status reports.
